Breaking News: NASA to Discuss Early Results of Artemis II Wet Dress Rehearsal

NASA is currently conducting tests in preparation for the Artemis II Moon mission. This includes a wet dress rehearsal for the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket at Launch Pad 39B in Florida. During this rehearsal, the rocket will be filled with 700,000 gallons of propellant to simulate launch conditions. If necessary, the rocket may be rolled back to the Vehicle Assembly Building for further work after the rehearsal.

Initial results of the fueling test and wet dress rehearsal will be discussed during a news conference on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 12 p.m. EST. The conference will be live-streamed on NASA’s YouTube channel, where viewers can also find continuous coverage of the rocket and separate feeds for specific events like the wet dress rehearsal. Stay tuned to NASA’s online platforms for more information on the Artemis II mission.

Participants in the news conference will include NASA Associate Administrator Amit Kshatriya and Lori Glaze, acting associate administrator for the Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate.
