The NASA Johnson Space Center is preparing for simulations to support future moonwalks, including underwater training. Biomedical research at NASA aims to collect data on the health hazards of spaceflight and develop strategies to counter them. The Data Science team provides statistical support and expertise in study design and data analysis under the constraints of space missions. This work contributes to the success of research projects and the overall health and safety of astronauts.
