NASA is gearing up for its SpaceX Crew-12 mission to the International Space Station, where four crew members will engage in research, technology demonstrations, and maintenance tasks onboard the space station. The crew, consisting of NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev, will launch from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft called Freedom. This spacecraft has been utilized for previous NASA missions, including Crew-4 and Crew-9, as well as private astronaut missions Axiom Mission 2 and 3. The crew will join the Expedition 74 team currently on the space station.
